really got to download the Forza 3 demo and compare it to Forza2 on the 360, when I did that I could see a very big difference between the two.
These screenshots are too small and low rez to see anything, in fact the comparison is pointless when the pix are so horrible, makes me question the motives of that site.
The first thing I did after downloading the Forza3 demo was pop in Forza 2 and compare the graphics, Forza3 looks tons better than Forza 2. How ever it doesn't show in these screenshots for some reason. So is it fowl play by that website or is it just that screenshots don't reflect the in game appearance very well?

I did notice that, but repeating a car 3 or 4 times is one thing, repeating it 10 and 20 times just to increase your total car count is another.
Turn 10 didn't lie about anything, any idiot can see Forza 3 has a far higher poly count than Forza 2, we have no way to know if it actually is 10X the count but from looking it seems possible. The physics ARE unmatched so far this gen, and from what people who have played GT5 have said, Forza 3 physics are superior to even that game. I dont recall T10 ever saying they had the best damage of this gen, and Forza 3 IS arguably the definitive sim of this gen since it has more and better features...
can't wait for this game, and this roster is so diverse. Some sims like to repeat the same cars over and over, or have one make, like say Nissan, and have 50 different models or 20 different versions of the same model, just so they can claim they have more cars. Ultimately that only hurts the consumer.
if you know how to play you never notice how unrealistic the damage can be. I personally have never crashed (while playing the demo)bad enough to notice that my car doesn't actually crumble up like an aluminum can.
But like someone above said already, and like Turn 10 said in one of their vid docs, the manufacturers only let you do so much damage to the cars, so most likely GT5 damage will be very similar to Forza's.

find 9/11 recreations in movies and games offensive because it really happened and many of those folks who were killed have loved ones still alive who may see such stuff and be offended. that looks sweet, as you can see they improved the background graphics, the trees don't look 2D like they did in GT5Pro.

Both look good, GT5P has duller colors which in screenshots look a tiny bit more true to life, however, Forza has superior trees and other background graphics, including lighting and shadows. Those of you saying one looks far better than the other are full of it, they are very close as far as graphics, neither blows the other away.
